Margam YC Stags Inclusion Football, based in Port Talbot, currently provides opportunities for more than 80 children with conditions including autism, Down’s syndrome, cerebral palsy and low self-esteem.

Set up in 2019, the club is having a significant impact and is about to launch the only cerebral palsy-framed football team in Wales.

“Our aim is to provide opportunities for children with personal challenges and a supportive environment for their families,” said club organiser, John Heycock.

“We’re looking raise awareness and grow by improving our equipment and facilities. We’re incredibly grateful to IVS whose kind donation will make a real difference.”

IVS’s managing director, Steve Jones, said the business was delighted to support such a fantastic initiative.

“The club is playing an important role by giving young people the opportunity to benefit from playing team sport while accommodating their needs. Through meeting the incredibly impressive team of dedicated volunteers, I know the club will continue to go from strength to strength,” he added.
