IVS offers a full range of block valve repair and diagnostic services from simple re-packs to major overhauls, including complete rebuilds to customer and OEM specification.

A block valve is a type of industrial valve that’s designed to block flow, and IVS’s highly-skilled valve technicians maintain, repair and overhaul the following:

We offer a same day turnaround service aimed at supporting customers’ planned maintenance schedules and insurance inspection dates.

IVS’s block valve repair and overhaul process

Our comprehensive block valve process consists of the following stages:

ivs-one

Initial assessment, including testing where appropriate

ivs-two

Dismantling, cleaning and inspection of all valve parts

ivs-three

Produce QC report with recommended work to optimise valve performance

ivs-four

Repair parts, as required, to OEM specifications

ivs-five

Replace internals with genuine OEM spares or, if required, reverse engineer to the same specification

ivs-six

Assemble to OEM specifications

ivs-seven

Valve fully tested to BS EN 12266-1:2012 to the full design pressure of the valve

ivs-eight

Tag and certify valve.

ivs-nine

Test certificate sent electronically

ivs-ten

QC report and test certificates saved in IVS QMS system

ivs-eleven

Dispatch either with an IVS-designated driver or a courier
