Established in 1981, Industrial Valve Services (IVS) is one of the UK’s leading valve maintenance and overhaul companies.
Supporting all industrial sectors through our onsite and workshop-based services, our client list includes some of the UK’s best-known industrial brands.
We’re on hand throughout a valve’s lifecycle, managing and overhauling valves ranging from 0.5 inches (12mm) to 78 inches (2m) in diameter. Overcoming obsolescence issues and long lead times for replacement parts, our fully-equipped service centres include reverse engineering capability.
IVS’s mobile engineering teams provide a complete range of onsite services including valve audits and testing, support during shutdowns and full maintenance contracts.
OEM trained, all our on-site and workshop-based engineers offer a fast-response service, including emergency call-out, to minimise any downtime and process disruption.

Our service centres
IVS supports clients across the UK and Ireland from its valve service centres in South Wales:
Swansea
Our 14,500 sq ft workshop at Swansea is dedicated to maintaining, repairing and overhauling all types of industrial valves. Facilities include:
- Specific bays for the overhaul, testing and certification of safety valves, control valves and block valves from ½” up to 78”
- Testing capability up to 6000psi / 413bar (gas and liquid)
- An industrial lapping and machine shop capable of machining to 84”
- An automated cleaning, paint bay with 5-tonne lifting capacity
Pembroke Dock
Our 12,000 sq ft, state-of-the-art facility at Pembroke Dock was acquired in 2020. Supporting IVS’s UK clients, it’s also ideally situated for customers in Ireland.
Pembroke Dock can service all types of valves and there are plans to incorporate an industry-leading training facility.
Facilities include:
- Relief, Control, Block Valve bays for the testing, overhauling and certification of valves from ½” up to 30”
- Digital test rigs for control and pressure relief valves. Testing capability up to 6000psi / 413bar (gas and liquid)
- Industrial lapping and machine shop
- Automated cleaning, paint bay with 3-tonne lifting capacity
