Sizes ¾" x 1" to 1½" x 2" (type 2850) and ¾" x 1¼" to 2" x 3" (type 2856). Effective orifice areas from .098 to 1.048 square inches. Pressures from 15 psig to 300 psig. Temperature range of -400 °F to +750 °F. Materials of construction include stainless steel body and trim or all 316 stainless steel (type 2850 & 2850/S4) and bronze/brass body and trim with bronze bonnet (type 2856). Optional "O" ring seat for maximum tightness. Applications: Air, steam, gas, vapour and non-Code liquid applications where the service is compatible with stainless steel (type 2850) or brass and bronze (type 2856). Also suitable for cryogenic applications. |
